While I was driving toward the airport on the way to a conference, some attractive Atlantic.Net billboards caught my eye. I must have seen five in that drive to the airport. I thought I should at least put this in the blog and share some of the pictures and concepts with our readers!
I later sat with Adnan R. who played an instrumental role in putting this campaign together and learned a great deal. We launched a small test campaign in Orlando to highlight our server capabilities. This campaign is quite different than the one from last year’s campaign to increase awareness about our Data Center. This year’s focus is on “Fast Servers” and we wanted to communicate how we can help businesses increase their productivity with our faaaaaaaaast servers. Here are the five different designs you may have seen around your town:

I am also attaching some of the designs from our previous campaign as well.

Adnan R‘s 10 tips to producing an effective outdoor advertising campaign:
• Have a clear and concise message.
• Make sure your name and message are legible (things can look different going 60 MPH)
• Do not clutter the board. You have only a few seconds to convey your message… keep it short, sweet and to the point!
• Use a few highly targeted and catchy phrases.
• How can your clients contact you? (That’s an easy one for us as our name is our website!)
• Use friendly colors that make a lasting impression and good graphics!
• Ensure you keep your message and content consistent with your branding.
• Use coherent messages throughout the campaign create all boards with a central theme
• Location, location, location!! Make sure you drive to look at the board placement to ensure there is no obstruction from the road.
• Strategically map out your territory to reach your target audience.
We have been so gratified by the overwhelming response that we have received regarding our 2009 Outdoor Advertising Campaign. It was awesome to have so many positive comments from clients, partners and friends (old and new). We received great feedback at events in areas we did not target. We here at Atlantic.Net look forward to continuing in 2010 with the tremendous success we experienced in our campaigns of 2009.
We can’t forget a huge thanks to Alan H. and Kristina D. for their efforts to design such a beautiful campaign! We can’t wait to see what comes next!
