Outside Sales Representative

Atlantic.Net is currently seeking Outside Sales Representative in Orlando, Florida. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of new business related to outbound activities that include the development of new leads and opportunities through targeted mailing and outbound cold calling to small, medium, and enterprise level businesses. Products to be offered are Atlantic. Net’s hosting solutions including cloud computing, virtualization, and dedicated hosting solutions.

The superior candidate will be honest, self-motivated, organized, hard-working, target-driven, and able to deliver under pressure with an emphasis on strong closing skills. The selected candidate must complete daily call reports and lead tracking forms, as well as exceed daily activity expectations. Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in a technology-related industry, with strong closing skills.

LINUX ADMINISTRATOR

Atlantic.Net is currently seeking a Linux Administrator in Orlando, Florida. The successful candidate will design/implement and administer enterprise systems, monitor and enhance system performance, and provide general support tools and systems integration.

The Linux Administrator will also be responsible for collaborating with the Windows and Facilities Engineering Teams to deliver outstanding performance, uptime, and results for mission critical data center applications supporting Atlantic. Net’s hosting solutions including cloud computing, virtualization, and dedicated hosting solutions.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deploy operating systems, major hardware upgrades, and projects from concept to deployment.
  • Maintain and monitor production systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Produce and analyze metrics for servers and storage to ensure uptime, enhance performance, and optimize resource allocation and utilization.
  • Effectively communicate with IT staff and management at all levels.
  • Manage infrastructure to support new and existing server installations, and software/build integration.
  • Write necessary code while acting as a team leader in the implementation of related projects and tasks.
  • Improve and implement project and process change to meet customer needs and exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborate effectively with first-line IT support staff, end users and other IT teams.
  • Engineer, design and deploy high-availability and disaster recovery architectures.
  • Deploy load balancing hardware, Cisco routers, switches, network security and firewalls.

Requirements:

  • Expert in Linux systems administration with 5 to 7 years of Red Hat Linux support experience to lead small to large projects.
  • Knowledge of advanced server functions including virtualization, clustering, load balancing and directory services.
  • Strong technical understanding of Volume Management in a SAN environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of IPtables, Intrusion Detection and Prevention, and OpenVPN.
  • Strong understanding of NAS and SAN storage infrastructure with storage array systems.
  • Experience with mission critical web server solutions (Apache/MySQL/Bind).
  • Experience with mission critical email solutions (Qmail/Vpopmail/Horde).
  • Experience managing mission critical backup solutions.
  • Experience with compilers and scripting languages such as PERL, Python and BASH.

  • Experience with server consolidation.

WINDOWS ADMINISTRATOR

Atlantic.Net is currently seeking a Windows Administrator in Orlando, Florida. The successful candidate will design/implement and administer enterprise systems, monitor and enhance system performance, and provide general support tools and systems integration.

The Windows System Administrator will perform system administration functions such as system troubleshooting, participation in the 24x7 on-call support rotation, and taking care of Windows systems escalation supporting Atlantic. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Advanced server functions to include VMware, clustering, load balancing, Active Directory and Exchange.
  • Ability to multi-task on several different projects and applications in a high-volume environment.
  • Train and mentor peers to implement solutions and integrate solutions into existing environments.
  • Serve as an architect when designing solutions.
  • Install and configure operating systems, hardware and software.
  • Implement backup and recovery routines for AD, Exchange, MS SQL and Sharepoint environments.

Client Support Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Client Support Coordinator for our data center in Orlando, Florida. The right candidate is highly motivated, experienced professionals with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • As a Client Support Coordinator (CSC) your main responsibility will be to act as a liaison between our customers and our Engineering staff. You will receive, troubleshoot, and delegate all issues regarding Atlantic.Net’s product offerings (Cloud Hosting, Dedicated Server Hosting, Managed Server Hosting, Collocation, and Groove Services).
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers experiencing issues relating to Atlantic.Net product offerings by receiving inbound phone calls, responding to support tickets, and in person situations with customers in the data center.
  • Client Support Coordinators are an integral part of our NOC, continuously monitoring our 25,000 sq/ft data center for any power, environment, or security related alarms while verifying customer access to the facility and collocated equipment.
  • Duties can include installing, support, and monitoring Cisco switches and routers, dedicated services, collocation space, firewalls, load balancers, and various proprietary systems.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required. College degree and/or technical certifications are major plusses.
  • Two years customer service experience with a technical background
  • Must be well spoken, outgoing, organized, detailed-orientated, dependable, flexible, and willing to maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Ability to effectively manage time and customer expectations
  • Working knowledge of computer systems hardware, including motherboard, processor, RAM, hard disk, and PCI connections
  • Working knowledge of computer operating systems (Windows XP, Windows 7, *nix)
  • Working knowledge Office-based communications systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Outlook
