Atlantic.Net and Feature Price are continuing to hold discussions and rather than specify the time frame for the next update, we will post new updates as they occur. Thank you for your patience.

Service Update (July 18, 2003)

Atlantic.Net and Feature Price are holding discussions in an effort to resolve this situation as quickly as possible. All Legal proceedings are continuing while these discussions occur. We expect to have another update for you by Wednesday, July 23, 2003.


Service Update (July 14, 2003)

As of today, Atlantic.Net and the landlord of Feature Price's facility have served Feature Price with an eviction notice. This means that Feature Price officials have until July 17, 2003 to vacate the premises. If Atlantic.Net gains access to the facility, or as new information becomes available, we will continue to provide updates to all Feature Prices customers on this Web page.

We are hiring additional staff as quickly as possible to accommodate the huge volume of requests we have received from Feature Price's 40,000+ customer base. We ask that you please be patient while we try to service your inquires and support requests.


Feature Price Service Currently Interrupted (July 1, 2003)

All websites hosted by Feature Price are currently down. If you have already signed up for an Atlantic.Net web hosting account through an Atlantic.Net sales rep or on your own through Atlantic.Net’s website, your service is unaffected because Atlantic.Net’s web hosting infrastructure is completely separate from Feature Price

Atlantic.Net has been working with the former entity of Feature Price to transition Feature Price customers safely to Atlantic.Net. However, today the former entity of Feature Price denied Atlantic.Net employees access to Feature Price’s equipment. Shortly after this occurred, all service to Feature Prices customers ceased due to unknown factors at this time.

Currently, Atlantic.Net cannot provide a time frame for service to be restored, however we are working closely with all available professional, legal, and law enforcement channels to restore services to Feature Price’s customers, just as quickly as possible.

We believe your options at this time are:

1) Be patient and wait to see when service is restored to Feature Prices web hosting. If you choose this option the time frame for your web hosting space to be up and available to all Internet users is unknown. We will update this as new information arises.

2) You may secure your web hosting presence through Atlantic.Net by signing up for one of our web hosting plans (Setup Fees for all Feature Price customers will be waived). This will ensure that you do not experience any further difficulties due to Feature Price, as Atlantic.Net’s web hosting infrastructure is completely separate from Feature Price. Additionally, we have revamped our web hosting plans to better suit your needs. If you choose this option the time frame for your web hosting space to be up and available to all Internet users will be approximately 24 - 72 hours. Please see below for how your specific Feature Price hosting plan will be affected.

If you are on a Platinum or Premium Feature Price Plan:
We will honor the remainder of your prepaid service if you remain with Feature Price or if you switch to one of Atlantic.Net’s web hosting plans. You will be able to signup the additional domain names that were hosted under your Feature Price web hosting plan during the signup process. We recommend that you switch to Atlantic.Net at this time to get your site(s) operational and stable. Once you have switched to Atlantic.Net you will not be charged until the end of your prepaid term. If you are on a Mini or Budget Feature Price Plan:
We recommend that switch to atlantic.net at this time to get your site stable and operational. Once you have switched to atlantic.net you will not be charged until August 1st (i.e. you will not be charged for July if you switch now). 3) You may switch your web hosting to another web hosting provider of your choice. If you choose this option the time frame for your web hosting space to be up and available to all Internet users is unknown and will vary based on which hosting provider you choose.

Atlantic.Net apologizes for this interruption of Feature Price’s service. We got into this to try and restore some faith into the hosting community and to try and put the customers first. Yet this has been undermined at every turn to the ultimate loss of your web hosting service.

At this time we encourage you to be proactive by switching your Web hosting account to Atlantic.Net as quickly as possible. By using our online signup form you will get the fastest and smoothest transition of your hosting service away from Feature Price. The online signup automatically will set your time period to start billing based upon your plan and prepaid expiration date.
