### Introduction

This tutorial will provide you some basic steps to help you lock down and secure your cloud Linux server with Atlantic.Net. By no means do these steps have to be used in order nor do you have to use all of the steps. They are recommendations on securing your server through simple means that take just a little of your time to set up or configure.

### Prerequisites

For this tutorial, all that’s pre-required is that you have a Linux private cloud hosting with Atlantic.Net.
