## Connecting the ACP Cloud

NVIDIA Mellanox provides the technology that powers the Atlantic.Net cloud. They help us with two main technologies:

### How NVIDIA Mellanox connects the Atlantic.Net cloud

- **InfiniBand:** super fast and enables servers to communicate at breakneck speeds efficiently. InfiniBand technology underpins our cloud service and disaster recovery communications.
- **Ethernet and RoCE:** our servers communicate over high-speed Ethernet, and the storage layer is connected via RoCE.

NVIDIA Mellanox also offers **VPI**, which lets you use both InfiniBand and Ethernet together, giving Atlantic.Net flexibility in how we set things up for our clients.
