Atlantic.Net Announces Free Tier-1GB Cloud Server and 50GB of Storage, Plus New Snapshot Feature to Strengthen Cloud Service Platform

Free servers available at seven global data center locations and new feature offered at hosting facilities

ORLANDO, FLA. (December 11, 2019) – Atlantic.Net, a leading cloud hosting solutions provider, today announced an offering of free tier-1 cloud services for new customers when they try the Atlantic.Net cloud platform and the addition of a Snapshot feature that will help strengthen the company’s cloud platform.

The snapshot will allow users to save a point-in-time copy of their cloud server’s local storage. This tool will not only help companies restore their server to the point-in-time when snapshots are taken but will transfer a copy to another location. Additionally, Snapshot will automatically encrypt at rest to provide a safe home for companies’ data. The feature will be billed at 5 cents per GB per month for each location a Snapshot is stored in, and pricing is based on the size of the Snapshot.

In conjunction, the first year following sign up, new customers receive 750 hours of free 1GB Cloud Server usage each month and 50GB of free Secure Block Storage each month. Free servers and Snapshot are available at all seven global data center locations worldwide including New York, London, San Francisco, Toronto, Dallas, Ashburn, and Orlando.
