Atlantic.Net Adds One-Click Agentic AI Deployments for OpenClaw and Hermes Agent
New Cloud Portal images let organizations easily run autonomous AI agents on isolated, always-on infrastructure, with full control over credentials, tools, and data
ORLANDO, Fla. (August 28, 2026) — Atlantic.Net, a global cloud infrastructure provider specializing in security and compliance, today announced one-click deployments for two open-source agentic AI applications, OpenClaw and Hermes Agent, on its On-Demand Cloud platform. Both applications give organizations a private, dedicated environment for AI agents that browse the web, run commands, and act on files, rather than running that software on employee laptops or shared systems.
Unlike chatbots, agentic AI takes real actions on real systems. Where an agent runs is therefore a security decision as much as an infrastructure one. A dedicated Atlantic.Net Cloud Server isolates agent activity from corporate endpoints, keeps API credentials off personal machines, and keeps the agent available around the clock.
OpenClaw is a widely adopted open-source agent framework with the broadest library of ready-made skills and the widest support for messaging platforms. Atlantic.Net recommends OpenClaw when the goal is an always-available AI assistant that employees reach through the channels they already work in, with sessions, model access, and tools organized behind its self-hosted gateway. It is the stronger fit for teams that include non-developers.
Hermes Agent is built to improve over time. It combines persistent memory across sessions, scheduled tasks, and a closed learning loop that turns repeated work into reusable skills. An OpenAI-compatible API lets developers build their own applications on top of the agent, which suits engineering teams and API-first workflows.

Deployment follows the standard Atlantic.Net one-click application workflow. Customers select OpenClaw or Hermes Agent from the Applications section of the Add Server page in the Cloud Portal, launch and login to the server, connect their preferred AI model provider, and follow the rest of the guided setup steps.
“While they have many similarities, the difference between the two comes down to who the agent serves,” Puranik added. “OpenClaw is the assistant your whole team can talk to from wherever they already work. Hermes is the agent your developers build on and teach. Both start conservative and scale as confidence grows, and in either case the organization retains full control over user access, credentials, tools, data, and workload isolation.”
Both applications connect to a customer-supplied model provider such as OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, etc. Model usage is billed by that provider, separately from Cloud Server charges.
