Atlantic.Net to sponsor California Linux Expo 2010
Orlando, FL (February 19, 2010) – Atlantic.Net (www.atlantic.net) a privately–held high performance data center services company, today announced its participation as a sponsor for the California Linux Show 2010. Since inception, Atlantic.Net has been a major supporter of grass root organizations within the technology industry. The recent announcement of Atlantic.Net’s sponsorship of the Southern California Linux Expo (SCALE), to be held February 19-21, 2010, comes on the heels of the sponsoring the Florida Linux Show, held in November 2009.
“Atlantic.Net has always taken great pride in supporting the technology community,” said John Rossiter, Director of Channel Development with Atlantic.Net. “It is an honor to provide ongoing support and encouragement to these grass root technology platforms such as SCALE and we look forward to continuing to do so for many years to come. The role these organizations play in providing engineers with the opportunities to learn and grow cannot be understated and is one of the driving forces behind our participation because it is so huge for our industry,” Rossiter said. In addition to the Southern California Linux Expo, Atlantic.Net actively supports and sponsors the Central Florida Information and Technology Society, Florida Linux Show and the BarCamp Community in Orlando, Tampa, Miami, and Fort Meyers. Atlantic.Net also sponsors online communities such as DOTNETNUKE, which is dedicated to the education and promotion of open source software.
“It’s encouraging to see leading technology companies such as Atlantic.Net help support our initiatives” says Ilan Rabinovitch of the Southern California Linux Expo. “We credit our sponsors and friends, like Atlantic.Net, who have enabled us to be where we are today. Being able to hold our 8th annual expo this year proves how well supported we are by the technology community; allowing us to continue to promote and educate the IT community.”
